The decor and ambiance of this charming retreat really captured my heart. The historic halls, courtyards, and gardens are beautifully maintained and exude a sense of grandeur. The rustic grandeur of the villa itself was a delightful sight - a true step back in time. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for me. The well-maintained pathways and convenient amenities made it easy for me to navigate around the property without any hassle or discomfort.

If I had one small suggestion for improvement, it would be that the children working there could provide more assistance and guidance for senior travelers. Sometimes, I felt they were a bit preoccupied or lacked the attention to detail that older guests may require.

The management and staff are wonderful. The Villa is amazing and the estate is exceptional. The Villa is clean and in wonderful state. The bathrooms are large with everything you need. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will look forward to come back again soon. The view overlooking olive and vine fields with the city in the distance is beautiful. Wifi connectivity available all around the whole villa. Beautiful garden. It is evident the management are on top of keeping this place picture perfect. A perfect escape 20 min away from a bustling city filled with tourists. The staff was extremely friendly and the villa was exceptional! Very clean and organic also with a well maintained pool with cool water. Breakfast was very nice spread of baked goods, ham, cheese, fruits, and assortment of continental with a kind staff serving fresh coffee and eggs of your choice. The rooms were such an amazing design from the old days and yet sparkling clean. We did a dinner 4 course and wine pairing. Monica is such an amazing host and her food was fantastic. The course was Tuscan ham and cheese platter, ravioli, beef and dessert. You get about five different kinds of wine to taste. Super recommended! The next day when we checked out, we bought the kinds of wine from the dinner we really enjoyed. Excellent service level, staff is highly customer oriented and committed to high service levels. Situated on a magnificent location, it is truly a phenomenal accommodation. Nicely situated buildings, e.g. both the living- and the bedrooms are nicely integrated with the design of the surrounding gardens. Close to the city center of Florence, but also situated in typical Tuscany surroundings with views on a.o. the Duomo and in the midst of the typical hills, vineyards, etc. Spacious and clean accommodation with high quality in many aspects - representing attention for details. It really exceeds our expectations which were based on several earlier visits to Italy/Tuscany region in similar accommodations. We were a group of 14 people and had a fantastic stay at Villa Medicea! We stayed in three villas, all next to each other: villa Alessandro, Ferdinando and Clementina. They were all very spacious, elegantly decorated and extremely clean. Marina at reception was super helpful, always smiling and happy to help. I called her a couple of times to ask for recommendations on pizzerias that could arrange a delivery and she organised it all. The pool with a view on the vineyards is absolutely perfect. We could have not wished for a more beautiful stay. Highly recommended! Monica

Felt like it was a home away from home, nothing too much trouble.

Located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, this villa offers stunning views of the hills, vineyards, and even the Duomo. The spacious and clean accommodations, including the large rooms and well-kept bathrooms, provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attentive staff and high service levels ensure a pleasant experience, and the on-site restaurant offers excellent food and a wine shop with locally produced wines.

Shared villa arrangements can lead to some minor inconveniences, such as having to coordinate responsibilities like rubbish disposal and dishwasher emptying among the guests.

I had an incredible experience at Villa Medicea. the villa had a nice house with a small pool and a shared garden. Every morning, delicious breakfast was delivered in a lovely way. We also enjoyed the convenience of free on-site parking and being able to bring our pet along. the location was perfect for us, as we wanted a quiet place outside Florence but still within a 20-30 minute taxi ride to downtown. it was great value for money, especially if you're planning to stay for a week or more. Cons: Nothing could have been better. 🌟.

My stay at Villa Medicea di Lilliano was fantastic. The staff was professional and kind. The room was dreamy, with a beautiful bathtub overlooking the gardens and Tuscany. The location was perfect, quiet yet close to Florence. The private tour and wine tasting were amazing experiences. The breakfast was delivered daily, and the private pool and communal areas were great. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

villa medicea di lilliano in grassina was a truly breathtaking experience. the staff was kind, knowledgeable, and always available to assist with tours and reservations. the room was like a luxurious apartment with stunning views of the hills. it felt like a home away from home, equipped with all the amenities one could need. a perfect escape from the bustling city of florence, just a short drive away.

No daily housekeeping service.

The staff were so cool and hooked us up with the best tips for exploring the area. We partied like crazy at the historical Limonaia - the firework display was off the chain and we danced till the break of dawn! The vibes were unreal, definitely a blast for young party-loving peeps like us.

If there was one thing that could've made our stay even better, it would be having more epic party events for young people. A few more late-night parties and social gatherings would have taken our experience to the next level!
